Somerset Classic Kitchen

Using the Shaker Maxim "Beauty in Utility", we designed a range of bespoke freestanding kitchen furniture that would never go out of date and be equally at home in a modern home or a country cottage - in fact, a classic. The Somerset classic kitchen is hand built by skilled, local craftsmen from top-grade solid pine and finished by hand with wax or painted with soft country cream or pale powder blue. The pine carcasses are complemented with solid beech or oak worktops. These worktops are finished with Danish oil to protect them and enhance the natural features of the wood. Although we have picked standard pieces and finishes that we think will fit in most kitchens, all of the kitchen units are hand-made to order, so we can offer a completely bespoke service. These custom-made kitchens can be constructed to fit any features you already have on site and we can also design around any kitchen appliances you might like. Additionally as part of this bespoke service we can colour match the kitchen bases to any British Standard colour or any Farrow & Ball colour.
Wessex Reclaimed Pine

The Wessex reclaimed pine kitchen range is an offshoot of our Wessex Bedroom and Dining ranges. This ranges comes from a joinery shop with a small bunch of skilled guys using small hand tools producing individual pieces of furniture, virtually by hand. The Kitchen units are not machine shop perfect and the timber, although beautiful, often bears marks of it's former usage (i.e. nail holes). They achieve a warm mellow finish by hand waxing these kitchen units and completing the pieces with a thick beech worktop. These worktops are coated with Danish oil to protect them and enhance the natural features of the wood. Available to view in-store are a wide range of Granite worktops, with the Granite coming from a local supplier, we can offer through them a full install service on Granite worktops. Living Kitchen

The Living Painted & Oak freestanding kitchen range has been styled on our contemporary furniture ranges, drawing on some of these aspects, as standard it comes with Stainless Steel T-Bar handles, 30mm Oak worktops & Shaker style oak kicker board. Our stanard finishes are Antique Ivory paint or one of five Farrow and Ball colour which is painted on to a pine carcass or there is the option to mix Oak Carcass in with the range. These pieces are all made to order and therefore bespoke pieces are available to fit any different shape kitchens.
Victorian Kitchen

As our fourth range, we have stepped a little into the past with the style. The Victorian Painted Freestanding Kitchen comes with double panel doors, large cornices, Antique Bronze handles and a 30mm Oak worktop. This is available as standard in Antique Ivory paint or one of five Farrow and Ball colours. These pieces are all made to order and therefore bespoke pieces are available to fit any different shape kitchens.
