The Old Creamery Furniture Company is a family run business, set in Yeovil on the boundary between Somerset and Dorset. We also have two other stores at Hankridge in Taunton & Brislington in Bristol.

We have spent the last 20 years sourcing solid wood furniture from the UK and International markets. For the first 10 years our core ranges had been dominated by pine, but in the past few years we have expanded our offering to encompass Oak, Ash, various soft and hard woods, Leather & Fabric Upholstery.

Searching / Browsing

The Old Creamery Furniture Company website has been designed primarily to Search by Room, so you can compare similar products across our wide variety of ranges. If you are looking for a specific item though, we have included the additional option to Search by Product, so you can compare a similar product across all of the ranges.

  • Search By Room
    Upon selecting the main room from the left hand bar, e.g. Living Room, you can move through the different ranges by clicking on the thumbnail image on the right hand side. To access the range, click on the View Full range button.
  • Search By Product
    To search for a specific product, you can drop down the 'Choose Product' menu in the left hand bar, then select the desired item and click.

Purchasing

To help you select a product that suits your requirements we have added the following guide:

  • Choosing your product
    We will endeavour to upload to the website accurate product images, measurements and details. We have put together the Measuring Guide with some helpful tips. When you are ready to order simply enter the quantity and click the ‘Add to Basket’ button. If you have any questions about a range do not hesitate to Contact Us.
  • Viewing your order
    Once you have chosen you items, click on the 'Your Basket' link in the top bar, where you will be able to confirm you order details. You can then click the checkout button, where you will then be asked to securely login/register, before placing your order.

Collection or Delivery?

Our 'Good to Go' Policy
The Internet is an excellent introduction to our furniture, but we believe there is no substitute for seeing and feeling the furniture first-hand. We also understand the frustration of waiting and possibly receiving damaged goods.

With these elements in mind we are prepared in many cases to make a generous contribution to the cost of van hire and customer self-collection. To take advantage of this opportunity, contact us by phone or email sales@oldcreameryfurniture.com to check stock levels on the furniture you're interested in and we will tell you more.

If the goods are in stock we will send you an email within 48 hours of placing the order confirming the goods are ready for collection. If we are out of stock, we will contact you by email when the goods are ready for collection.

If you would like to use our delivery services
When an order is placed via our website, if the goods are in stock, our dispatch team will contact you within 48 hours to arrange a delivery date. If the items are out of stock, we will contact you when the goods have arrived into our warehouse.

Our own delivery service operates within 30-40 miles of Yeovil and includes postcodes BA, DT, TA, BS, BH, EX1-6, EX8-19, SP2, SP3 & SP7, SP8. Our delivery service includes a two-man team who will assemble the goods in the room of your choice and remove all the packaging. We aim to deliver in this area within 7-10 days, once the goods are in stock, although this can not be guaranteed in the busy times of year.

Outside of our delivery area we have a local, reliable courier who can deliver to the following postcodes, EX7, EX20-EX39, SP1, SP4-SP6, TQ, PL, TR, LS, WF, L, M, OL, SK, WA, HD, DE, NG, S, B, CV, DY, ST, TF, WR, WS, WV, GL1- GL13, SN, GU, OX, PO, RG, SL, SO, BR, BR, CR, DA, E, EC, EN, HA, IG, KT, N, NW, RM, SE, SM, SW, TW, UB, W, WC, WD. The charges for these areas are £90 for the first item and £25 for any additional item. Delivery within these areas could take 7-28 days. This service is normally only one man and delivery is to front door only.

All deliveries will require a signature.

Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have chosen you may return it for a refund or replacement. If the goods were delivered by our or another courier service, please ring us on 01935 425694 to discuss return options. Please advise us within 7 days of receipt. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or, at our option, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging.

Regrettably, self-assembly furniture cannot be returned once assembly is part or fully completed, unless the item is faulty.

Divans and mattresses are not returnable once unwrapped, unless they are faulty. This is for reasons of health and hygiene. Your statutory rights are not affected.
