Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact one of our sales team on 01935 410 500 or email sales@oldcreameryfurniture.com before placing an order with us.

These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

 A Contract between the customer and The Old Creamery Ltd for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted and processed. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Prices and availability of goods is subject to change. This means that the price confirmed after placing the order may be different to that charged. Every effort is made to ensure that this does not happen, but in this event we will contact you before proceeding with the order. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see delivery information.

1. Your Right To Cancel Orders placed through our website can be cancelled any time, from when you place it up to seven working days after the date you receive the goods. Before dispatch this will result in a full refund. After dispatch, we will issue a full refund minus a returns cost (see returns policy below). In the event of a fault with the goods, we would issue a full refund or free of charge replacement. After the first seven days, please contact our customer service manager to discuss the reasons for cancellation. Any refund will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation date. Please be aware that some of the items we supply are ‘made to order’ items built for you on the basis of this contract. Once ordered these items may require a re-stocking fee to cancel. If you have any concerns around the order/contract process, please contact our sales manager on 01935 410 500 for more details.

2. Returns Policy On receipt of your order, please take reasonable care of the goods and please attempt to retain the original packaging. In the case of mattresses and divan beds, please inspect the goods through the plastic before opening, as these cannot be returned after opening for reasons of health and hygiene.  If you would like to cancel your order with us and you are returning the goods, please discuss with our customer service manager the method of return and packaging quality, this will help us assess return charges. 

3. Payment and Taxes All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. When placing your order you will be asked to select between our delivery information (see below) or to collect from our warehouse.

4. Our Guarantee To You We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of many of our best selling items. However, some items are not possible to stock, so in these cases the lead time will be highlighted in the product detail.  

5. Our 'Good to Go' Policy The Internet is an excellent introduction to our furniture, but we believe there is no substitute for seeing and feeling the furniture first-hand. We also understand the frustration of waiting and possibly receiving damaged goods. With these elements in mind we are prepared in many cases to make a generous contribution to the cost of van hire and customer self-collection. To take advantage of this opportunity, contact us by phone 01935 410 500 or email sales@oldcreameryfurniture.com to check stock levels on the furniture you're interested in and we will tell you more. If the goods are in stock we will send you an email within 1 hour (only within normal opening hours) of placing the order confirming the goods are ready for collection. If we are out of stock, we will contact you by email & phone when the goods are ready for collection.

6. If you would like to use our delivery services

When an order is placed via our website, if the goods are in stock, our dispatch team will contact you ASAP and within 48 hours to arrange a delivery date. If the items are out of stock, we will contact you when the goods have arrived into our warehouse to book the delivery date.

Our own delivery service operates within the following postcodes BA, DT, TA, BS, BH, EX1-6, EX8-19, EX24-25, SP2, SP3 & SP7, SP8. Our delivery service includes a two-man team who will assemble the goods in the room of your choice and remove all the packaging (Some items are flat packed and the delivery charge only covers drop off, this will be stated on the specific item). We aim to deliver in this area within 7-10 days, once the goods when the goods are in stock, although this cannot be guaranteed in the busy times of year. Delivery is typically £30 for addresses in this area, although for some items and giftware, the delivery charge may vary and we will contact you to complete the order with a different shipping cost.

Outside of our delivery area we have reliable couriers who can deliver to most of mainland UK for reasonable charges. This is a different service and levels of installation will vary. We will contact you after you have placed the order to discuss the best method of delivery.

All deliveries will require a signature.

7. Conformity Of Goods We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Please refer to the description of the product alongside the image to confirm colour and dimensions. The majority of our products are made from natural materials and so are expected to have natural variations in colour & feature.
